What data we collect

We collect only the data you send us yourself. The only form on the website is the one on the contact page and it has four fields: name, e-mail address, subject and message. We do not ask for other information and we do not fill in anything about you automatically.

If you write to us directly by e-mail or call us to ask about availability, we keep what you tell us in that conversation: your name, contact details, the desired period and the number of guests.

The website has no user accounts, is not an online shop and does not process payments. We never ask for card details through this website.

Purpose and legal basis

• To answer your message and inform you about availability and price. The legal basis is the pre-contractual step, Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
• To prepare, confirm and honour a booking. The legal basis is the performance of the accommodation contract, the same Article 6(1)(b).
• To comply with the legal obligations of a tourist accommodation establishment, including the register of accommodated guests and tax obligations. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c).

We do not use your data for profiling, we make no automated decisions based on it and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Messages received through the form or by e-mail are kept for at most two years from the last correspondence, if no booking resulted from them. Documents relating to an actual stay are kept for as long as required by tax legislation and by the regulations on the register of guests.

Who receives the data

We do not sell or rent the data to anyone. It reaches only the providers without which the website could not operate, and the authorities, when the law obliges us:

• The hosting provider. The website runs on a server managed by Contabo GmbH, physically located in France, therefore inside the European Union.
• The e-mail service provider, through which the messages sent from the form reach us.
• Public authorities, in situations where we have a legal obligation to disclose information.

The pages of the website load fonts from the Google Fonts service. For this, your browser makes a request to Google’s servers, which thereby receive your IP address. This request does not store cookies and does not transmit the data you fill in on the form.

Your rights

The General Data Protection Regulation gives you the following rights, which you can exercise by writing to us at contact@casamotilor.ro:

• The right of access, that is, to find out what data we hold about you.
• The right to rectification, if a piece of information is wrong or incomplete.
• The right to erasure, under the conditions provided by law.
• The right to restriction of processing.
• The right to data portability, that is, to receive the data in a machine-readable format.
• The right to object to processing.

We answer requests within one month of receipt at the latest. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), headquartered in Bucharest, B-dul General Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, sector 1, or through the website dataprotection.ro.

How we protect the data

The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection on all pages, including when the form is submitted. Access to the website administration is limited to the people who maintain it and is protected by password.
